Snorkeling Blue lagoon Plataran Menjangan

As you know that Menjangan Island is the best snorkeling spot in Bali, but to enter this area is charged a fairly high fee.

Menjangan Island is part of the West Bali National Park area for entrance tickets on normal days IDR 200,000 per person and for Sundays or national holidays IDR 300,000 per person.

For those staying in the Pemuteran area or its surroundings with a limited budget, you can still enjoy snorkeling activities. We also offer excellent snorkeling spots located outside the West Bali National Park area.

There are 2 spots that are very worth to visit:
  1. Blue Lagoon – This spot is located approximately 1 km from Plataran Menjangan Resort. To reach the location, you need to take a boat or Jukung for about 10 minutes. The coral reefs here are impressive, hosting a variety of colorful fish species, including Anemone fish, lionfish, Parrotfish, six-barred wrasse, butterfly fish, snapper, grouper, triggerfish, and more.
  2. Putri Menjangan – This spot is situated in the Putri Menjangan Mangrove Conservation Area. To reach the location, you need to take a boat or Jukung for about 15 minutes. The coral reefs here are impressive and vibrant. Having snorkeled here many times, we consistently encounter turtles.

  • From white sandy beach Banyuwedang by traditional boat or Jukung to Spot Putri Menjangan 15 Minutes
  • First snorkeling – Spot Putri Menjangan approx. 45 minutes – 1 hour
  • Second snorkeling – Spot Blue Lagoon approx. 45 minutes – 1 hour
  • On the way back to banyuwedang beach from Blue lagoon approx. 10 minutes
